Online Piano Lessons
You always meant to keep your skills up but life has somehow gotten in the way. You get those piano pieces out from time to time, but you don’t seem to be making any progress because your attention is always being pulled in another direction. Work, ferrying kids around, caring for everyone else… it’s hard to carve out time for you.
This niggle to get back into playing piano will never go away. You know your mental peace needs a creative musical outlet again.
You don’t really need a teacher – you need an practice accountability coach. I can keep you accountable to make time for yourself in your busy schedule and get you playing piano again.
What will you learn?
Well, what would you like to learn? The great thing about being an adult is you get to run the show! I will be more like a coach than a teacher. Want to learn to play by ear? We can do that. Interested in composing or creating your own music? We can do that too. You can even sit AMEB exams if you wish. You are the boss!
What do lessons look like?
Learn to Play : Your Pace – Your Place! I use an online lesson platform called Muzie.Live which has high fidelity audio. It has several useful features like an interactive whiteboard and the ability for both student and teacher to upload videos. There are two options for lessons:
Option 1: Live Online lessons
This option is equivalent to 45 minute Individual lessons and includes:
- A 30 minute online lesson via Muzie.Live once a week
- Complementary Video clips to help you learn new content
- Access to Supersonics Piano (Pro membership login)
- Access to Theta Musical Trainer (aural training games)
Option 2: Asynchronous Online Lessons
One live lesson is at the beginning of the month, followed by video exchanges
- A 30 minute online lesson via Muzie.Live in week 1
- Video clips to help you learn new content
- Unlimited feedback on your video submissions
- Access to Supersonics Piano (Pro membership login)
- Access to Theta Musical Trainer (aural training games)
What will you need?
- A piano, acoustic or digital
- Reliable Internet connection
- Create a free account with Muzie.Live and I will provide you my access code
- A device capable of connecting online (the larger the screen, the easier you will be able to see)
What do they cost?
Live Online Lessons
Weekly 30 minute lessons during the school term costs $400/term.
4 week Online Lesson Package
$125 / month (4 weeks)
